The 8000SE integrated amplifier retains nearly all the performance of the 8000S amplifier, and offers remarkable valuefor-money. The same circuit topology is used, but with a simpler orientation. Motorised volume controls and remote controls are forsaken, as are the bi-wire terminals, yet in all other respects, the SE is every bit as competent as the famous 8000S.

  Audiolab’s latest integrated amp is the result of elegant, unfussy engineering of the highest quality. The Carbon II is a one-piece hybrid vacuum tube amplifier with on-board iPod dock. There are also 2 pairs of RCA connections for additional audio sources and a third input on a stereo 3.5mm jack, suitable for mobile ‘phones, etc.

MUSICAL FIDELITY

The M3i integrated amplifier uses similar drive circuitry to our most expensive amplifiers. This may sound incredible to you, but please let us explain how it makes perfect sense. A power amplifier, for example our ‘monster’ Titan, is made up of a driver circuit, output stage and power supply.

The critical part of any amplifier’s design is the drive circuitry. If this is not right, then no amount of huge output stage or power supply will compensate. On the other hand, if you get the driver circuit right, and by this we mean both its circuit design and printed circuit board layout, then it becomes much easier to select the output power and put the amplifier together. It is not as simple as that, of course, but the point is, the drive circuit is the starting point.

It's the intrinsic values that count
Vincent carried out enormous in-house development during the past two years. Development that could clearly score in sound improvement. Let us here mention the DC-coupled Mos Fet input stage, introduced in 2002 in the SA-93. Or the DC server unit for better power supply of the output stages, if required, the first time used in 2006 in the SP-995, for immediate availability in case of high pulses. Naturally, constantly new findings and sound improving measures are incorporated in the manufacturing process. Thus in the meantime we fall back on a clearly finer core materials for the transformers, minimizing magnetic diffusions and turbulences. The power adaptor was revised and adapted to the requirements of strong erformance peaks, the sound appreciates it with sovereignty and ease at all speakers.

The SV-226MK is the advancement of the successful Model SV-226. More inputs were added, a remote control, Pre Out and Rec Out.

In addition, new innovations have been added to the valve technology of this hybrid amplifier all aspects of the circuit have been considered. This is truly an amplifier ahead in the class in regards to price/sound performance. Hybrid technology with Vincent means the sound of valve is paired with the strength of the transistor.

This recent development combined with vacuum tube technology has culminated in a smooth, warm sound.

With this device Vincent presents the latest development in the field of integrated full amplifiers. This amplifier is fully symmetrically constructed and as in the SA-93Plus, it uses the FET input amplifiers recently developed in-house by Vincent. With these input units the signal is transmitted to the amplifier unit even faster and above all with even less noise.
